Spoof Football Newspapers
Got a football fan with a sense of humour? I have one in my family, and he’s always playing practical jokes.
So when I saw these spoof newspapers, I knew he just had to have one. He’s a huge Arsenal fan, so what better way to play a trick on him than to put his name as the winning player who thrashed the opposing team?
I laid the paper out on the table and ask him if he’d read the Mirror sports page today.
He said he hadn’t, but got the shock of his life when he saw his name and his team on the front page! He believed it for all of about five minutes, but it was the best money I ever spent to see the look on his face when he read it!
Now he keeps it out on the front table where everyone can see.
If I had one complaint, it’s that I wish you could include a photo in the paper to make it more believable. Otherwise, it’s a terrific spoof gift for the sport fan in your household or workplace and is guaranteed to get a good laugh, and passed around to friends, family and the office to see who falls for it!
