I was given one of these Stylophone thingy’s when I was a child and I loved it. Probably, because like a lot of people, it was the only “musical instrument” that I actually learned to play.

The Stylophone is made from simple, old fashioned electronics and it’s great fun to play.

I remember it being easy to learn because you play it by moving the stylus across the numbered keyboard. Because the keys on the keyboard are numbered, you can “learn by numbers” when you want to play a song.

OK, it not a synthesiser but it is waaay cheaper.

The original was endorsed by the one and only Rolf Harris and it even appeared in David Bowie’s Space Oddity hit.

This new version has a few more sounds than the original. You can also plug in headphones to give your family some peace and quiet while you practice.
